Most events are created from a template — it's faster and more consistent. First-time? Use this full walk-through.
1. Pick a venue
Under Events → Venues, make sure the venue is on file. Add a new one if not — load-in and parking info live here and will auto-populate on every event there.
2. Create the event
Events → New Event. Required fields: name, date, start/end time, venue. Optional fields worth filling: event type (broadcast, concert, corporate), description, and internal-only notes.
Leave the event in Draft status while you build it out.
3. Add positions
Click Add Position and specify what you need: title (e.g., "Camera Op"), skill requirement, certification requirement, quantity, pay rate, and call time (defaults to event start).
4. Add equipment and documents
Attach run sheets, scripts, site maps, and safety briefings under Documents. Equipment needed? Add it under Equipment so workers see what to bring.
5. Move to Open
Flip status from Draft to Open when you're ready to staff. Only Open (and later, Confirmed) events appear on the staffing board.
6. Staff it
See The staffing board for drag-drop staffing and Sending offers for notifying workers.
