Completing your profile

Updated April 21, 2026

After you accept an invitation to join an organization, CrewCall walks you through an onboarding wizard. You can always come back and edit any of this from My Profile.

Step 1 — Profile information

Enter your name, phone number, mailing address, and an emergency contact. The phone number is the one CrewCall will text when a shift offer comes in — see Verifying your phone.

Step 2 — Skills

Add the skills you have (camera op, audio engineer, rigger, PA, etc.) and rate your proficiency on a 1–5 scale. If a skill requires a certification (e.g., scissor-lift, first-aid), add the expiration date; CrewCall will remind you before it lapses.

Step 3 — Availability

Set your recurring availability (e.g., "weekdays after 5 PM") or block out specific dates you're unavailable (vacations, other commitments). Schedulers only see your availability — they never see the reason. See Setting your availability.

Step 4 — Documents

Upload any documents your organization requires: W-9, I-9, union card, driver's license, certifications. You set the expiration date per document; CrewCall alerts you before anything expires.

Privacy

Your profile is visible only to schedulers and admins in organizations you've joined. Other workers cannot see your phone, address, or documents.
