Availability tells schedulers when you can work. It's the single most important thing you can keep up to date — unavailable workers never see shift offers, so accurate availability means fewer wasted offers and faster scheduling.
Recurring availability
Under My Availability → Recurring, set the days and time windows you're generally available. Example: "Mon–Fri after 4 PM, Sat–Sun any time."
Specific dates
Override the recurring pattern for specific days. Examples:
- Block out a vacation ("Unavailable Dec 23 — Jan 2")
- Open up a normally-unavailable day ("Available this Saturday 8 AM – 2 PM")
Sharing across organizations
If you work for multiple orgs that use CrewCall, toggle Share availability across organizations on your profile. Other orgs will see that you have a conflict but not which event or which org booked you.
When does availability get checked?
Every time a scheduler tries to add you to an event, CrewCall checks your availability for the event's date and time range. If you're unavailable you appear grayed out on the staffing board with a conflict warning.
