Setting up your organization

First 15 minutes after creating your organization.

1. Set your brand

Organization Settings → Branding. Upload a logo (shown on the login page, emails, and invitations), pick your primary color, and set your URL slug. The slug becomes your organization's subdomain-style prefix inside CrewCall: crew-call.net/<slug>/.

2. Pick a plan

New organizations start on the Free tier (limited workers, no SMS). Head to Billing → Plans to choose a tier that fits your team size. All paid tiers include a 14-day free trial.

3. Enter your legal details

Organization Settings → Company — legal name, tax ID, mailing address. This is what goes on W-9s and invoices.

4. Add venues, skills, and equipment

Before inviting the team:

  • Venues: the places you actually run events (see Venues).
  • Skills: the skills your jobs require — camera op, audio, rigger, PA.
  • Equipment: cameras, mics, headsets — anything workers might bring.

Schedulers can't staff an event without at least some positions, and positions need skills — so front-loading this saves time later.
