Understanding user roles

CrewCall uses role-based access so each person sees only what they need. Your role is tied to your organization — if you belong to two orgs you can have different roles in each.

Roles at a glance

Role What they can do
Owner Full access. Can delete the organization and change billing. One per org.
Admin Everything the Owner can do except delete the org.
Scheduler Create and staff events. Message workers. Cannot change billing or invite admins.
Viewer Read-only access for people who need visibility but not control.
Worker Appears on the staffing board, receives offers, sets availability. Does not see other workers' personal info.

Switching views

If you're both a scheduler and a worker in the same org (you sometimes work shifts you also staff), a Manager / Worker toggle appears in the top navigation. Use it to flip between the scheduler dashboard and the worker dashboard without signing out.

Changing someone's role

Admins and Owners can change roles on the Team Members page under the Admin menu. Demoting yourself to a non-admin role requires another Owner or Admin to restore your access, so take care.
