Organizations can override global help articles for their own users without affecting anyone else's CrewCall install.
The override pattern
- Global articles have
organization=NULL— visible to every tenant. - Override articles have the same slug as the global one and your org set.
- For your org's users, the override replaces the global article silently. For everyone else, the global article still shows.
When to override
- Your organization has custom policies (e.g., a different dress code or parking procedure).
- The global article references a feature you don't use.
- You want to add org-specific contact info or internal links.
Authoring an override
Admin → Manage Org Help. You'll see:
- Your articles — anything you've already written or overridden.
- Available to override — the global articles you haven't customized yet. Click one to clone it as a starting point.
The clone preserves the slug and initial content; edit the body to match your org's reality and save.
Org-only articles
You can also create articles that don't exist globally — useful for policies or processes that only apply to your org. These have no global counterpart and show only to your users.
Reverting
Deleting your override restores the global article for your users immediately.
